FAQs
Who should travel up the mountain to Indian Paintbrush Ranch for this unique experience?
The topics are Integrity, Health, Wealth and Relationship. If you are in crisis in one of these areas, Guy will help you see a light at the end of the tunnel and you are encouraged to attend. Even those in crisis will only be so in one of these areas and so, Guy will guide you to resources and a personal plan to refine and accelerate your success. For many, who are already successful in one or more of these topic areas, Guy will open a window to what’s next in life…where do you go from here? It’s this mix of different goals and levels of success that will add richness and meaning to the experience.
What is included with my registration?
Set up your flights in/out of Colorado Springs International Airport (COS) and let us take care of everything else. Once you land, everything is included in your seminar registration fee…food, transportation, sleeping accommodations, activities, seminar…everything.
How many people will be attending?
This is not designed for large audiences. The size is limited to 10-12 people to ensure an intimate experience with Guy and the other participants. We will eat together, watch movies together, work together, and play together. Each day will be a mix of conversation, experiential activities ranging from cooking with Guy, to rock climbing, to horses, etc., video interviews with experts, movies and personal reflective time and you’ll have access to Guy for group and one on one dialogue.
Should I fly into Colorado Springs or Denver?
Colorado Springs…the COS airport is 1h 15m from the Ranch. CHS staff will pick you up and drop you off from COS. If you want to fly into Denver, IPR is 2h 30m away. You would need to shuttle to COS where we’d pick you up or rent a car and travel to IPR. You will need to arrive to IPR by 4:00pm.
We will have you back to COS on Tuesday by 10:00am.
Can I come earlier or extend my trip?
You are welcome to come a day early and/or stay a day later at no additional cost. There will be limited food services during these days.
Can I bring family for a vacation?
Not to the Ranch during the seminar. You are welcome to vacation either before or after. In fact, if you’d like to make a family vacation out of the Ranch, you can reserve one of the homes for an additional fee. To check on availability, email us at CourageousHeartSeminars@gmail.com.
What is the altitude and weather like?
IPR sits at 8,000 feet and soars to over 10,500. As such, the weather can change quickly. We will send you a clothing list, pre-seminar suggestions and rules after you register. Daytime temperatures range from 70-80 with night time temperatures dropping into the upper 40’s-60.
Guy owns three beautiful homes on his 540 acre property. Most of the activity will be in his primary residence, the Cabin. Participants will be accommodated in either the Cabin or the Villa, which is a stone's throw away. Occupancy will be two participants per room.
Accommodations?
Drugs and alcohol?
If you are taking prescription medicine, we will need to know as it can affect participation in certain experiential activities. All other drugs are prohibited during the program. We will have a small amount of wine with certain meals.
Spouses/SO’s, together or separate?
If you have a loving relationship and you’re coming to renew your commitments to each other as well as develop skills to grow as a couple, you are welcome to attend together. If there are any conflicts, power struggles, or separations, we would ask that you attend different programs.
Schedule-how do I plan to be away from home and office?
We have set the experience up so that you don’t need to be away from work and home for a full week. Instead, you can work Monday through Wednesday of the week leading up to Colorado and then be home the next week to work and be with family from Wednesday on.
This means you will not lose a week of income by being gone.
Can my staff benefit from attending?
If you have a truly committed staff member that has been with you for years and you want to help grow them or a person you’re grooming to be a long-term confidant, by all means bring them. However, the program is not designed with a staff team building orientation.
Is there a reduced price if I bring my spouse/staff?
If you bring your spouse, a SO you’re living with, or a current staff member (non-DC) there is a 20% discount for the second participant. To register a second person, please email us at CourageousHeartSeminars@gmail.com.
What if I want to buy- out the entire program?
We have been approached by a doc who wants to bring his entire team out for a private program. We will be happy to provide the entire seminar and custom design some aspects in concert with your goals. Perfect for multiple office groups, executives and leaders who want to address high performance issues as a staff, or to reward your top clients with a First Class program/experience.
